Old Is Beautiful

On this point scholars agree: in terms of calligraphy, Sinaiticus' is top-notch. After nearly 1,600 years of wear and tear, its script is still, according to the project's curators, "astonishing," "stunning" and "priceless." Its quality rivals the best parchment of medieval manuscripts produced hundreds of years later. If you look closely, you can even distinguish between the four main scribes' handwriting styles.
