Teleflora, "Talking Flowers"

One of the most effective ad strategies: introduce the consumer to a fear he did not know he had. In this case, the horrible messages that sending flowers in a box — a box! — sends to your lady love. A bit crude ("No one wants to see you naked!") but probably an effective way of monetizing dudes' flower anxiety near Valentine's Day. Did men like this one, or did women? Because I can't imagine both did.
