A collection of Obama-themed works by independent artists from around the nation will be exhibited at the Manifest Hope: D.C. gallery up until the big day. The display which will include pieces by the popular Shepard Fairey, who designed the now iconic, red, white and blue Obama campaign posters (as well as TIME's Person of the Year cover) is focused on the grass-roots visual-art movement. This original Etch A Sketch image, right, meticulously turned by George Vlosich of Cleveland, is one of the pieces that will hang in the gallery, priced at $10,000. His work can be seen at www.gvartwork.com; other featured artists can be found at www.manifesthope.com.
