Backspacer
The songs on Pearl Jam's ninth and most diverse album have a beautiful grime, while Eddie Vedder's lyrics ("I gotta say it now, better loud than too late") show a mature man's appreciation for the virtues of immaturity. This is quite possibly the band's best work.
