The Films of Michael Powell

Well, just two, but that's a double treat from the wayward, towering Brit auteur. The 1946 A Matter of Life and Death is a don't-miss wartime romantic-fantasy epic; the 1969 Age of Consent is an Aussie indie with James Mason and, in her film debut, the eternally sexy Helen Mirren.
