They Feel Pretty

"From our point of view — not a big deal," FAA spokesman Tony Molinaro said after the Federal Aviation Administration banned jogging outfits, halter tops, shorts and jeans from the agency's dress code last year. But evidently some members of the 15,000-strong National Air Traffic Controllers Association disagreed. According to the New York Times, one man in Dallas "went to work in lime green pants and a clashing brown jacket, along with hair dyed blue" to protest the agency's arbitrary — and ultimately unenforceable — rules. Other male employees chose an even more creative route and donned dresses to assert their sartorial rights.
