Jim McKay, 1921-2008

In his 40-odd years as a sportscaster, McKay reported the thrills of countless victories. But he's best remembered for his coverage of the agony of the 1972 Munich Olympics, where 11 Israeli athletes were slain, which he relayed with three heartbreaking words: "They're all gone."
