Forget sleek, high-tech skiwear for a minute. Regulars on the slopes of glitzy resorts like St. Moritz and Aspen are favoring the retro-glam styles of the 1950s with fox- and beaver-lined jackets from Authier, the Italian luxury line preferred by the late Gianni Agnelli. Another Italian favorite, Moncler, will open its first boutique on Aspen's East Hyman Avenue. Next winter its popular parkas like the Himalaya ($750) will schuss into stores in Gstaad, Hong Kong and Milan.
