After a $220 million renovation, the Boca Raton Resort & Club, built in 1926 by Addison Mizner, is ready for a major comeback. Architect Thierry Despont updated the Mediterranean-revival-style public spaces, giving them the sensibility of an Italian piazza. Interior designer Alexandra Champalimaud transformed the bungalows' interiors with her 1950s Hollywood vision. And outposts of the Morimoto sushi bar and famed Serendipity ice cream café are newly opened. There is no shortage of activities at this megaresort, including golf, tennis and a spa. Rooms start at $259.
