Saturday Night Live cast member Andy Samberg pulled off one of the more irrevent, if Dadaist, sketches of the year when he appeared in the Oct. 5th episode as the tough-talking, Oscar-nominated actor Mark Wahlberg. In an earnest Boston yawp, Samberg makes small talk with a bunch of real (and very mute) animals: "Hey dog! How's it going? ... so you're a dog, what's that all about? ... Ok, say hi to your mother for me ... Hey goat! I like your beard. I had a beard like that in The Perfect Storm. Did you see that movie? ... Say hi to your mother for me." Despite telling Jimmy Kimmel, "When I see that kid, I'm going to crack that big f___ing nose of his," Wahlberg showcased his self-deprecating sense of humor a few weeks later on SNL, mocking the fake controversy while doing a perfect Wahlberg-impersonating-Samberg-impersonating Wahlberg: "Hey! Amy Poehler! how's it going? You're pregnant. What's that all about? Well it's nice to see you. Say hi to your mother for me!"
