Huck and Chuck
Past and possibly future Presidential candidate Mike Huckabee is that rarest of creatures: a religious-right politician who not only gets pop culture and irony but embraces them. This video with action star Chuck Norris — playing off the "Chuck Norris Facts" joke meme — was a twofer. It marked Huck as a cool, funny guy to those (including members of the media) who might be scared by an ex-preacher President. And it was a quiet shout-out to fundamentalist voters, who also know Norris as a Christian author. Norris didn't just lift Huckabee up. He pushed the Earth down.
