Laughter

Spiro Agnew was virtually unknown when Richard Nixon selected him to be his vice presidential running made in 1968. Agnew had only been governor of Maryland for two years and his opponents ridiculed his lack of experience. This Hubert Humphrey attack ad features nothing but uncontrollable laughter as Agnew's name appears on screen. It's simple, it's shocking and it's intimidating — who wants to vote for the inexperienced candidate everyone laughs at?
