Among the many unexplained events in Texas — what Jessica Simpson does for a living, why President Bush has so much brush to clear — one mystery stands above them all. That of the Marfa Lights, strange glowing orbs that can be seen hovering in the air on the Mitchell flat, east of Marfa. Sightings have supposedly been reported since the 1800s, and to this day, witnesses report glimpsing the basketball-sized ghost lights a few times a year. Critics say the lights are simply caused by distant vehicles or other ordinary objects. Go and see for yourself.
