Reagan Outlaws Russia

"My fellow Americans, I'm pleased to tell you today that I've signed legislation that will outlaw Russia forever. We begin bombing in five minutes," President Ronald Reagan joked during a sound check prior to a radio address to the nation in 1984 at the height of the Cold War. Unbeknownst to him, his comments were later leaked.
