The perpetrators of the hit cartoon series South Park have taken potshots at everything from Scientology to Barbra Streisand and packed more fart jokes and four-letter words into small spaces than any other filmmakers over the age of 10, and they risked death threats for an episode last year in which they poked fun at the Prophet Muhammad. Now they've brought their irreverent act to Broadway with the new musical, The Book of Mormon. It has plenty of crude moments, but it's packaged in such a buoyant, old-fashioned song-and-dance show that, once you get past the profanity, you just might mistake it for a revival of Oklahoma!
