To be fair, there is probably not a way to make a selling point of your car reading you real-time Facebook status updates and not make it seem sad or creepy. And this ad, which begins with a sweet kiss-goodnight moment, builds up some emotional goodwill. But it ends up making its protagonist — smiling as his navigation system tells him he just gave Jennifer the "best first date ever" — seem half sweet and half stalkery. Ah, but isn't that what love is?
