History, this spot tells us, is made in many places: on a stage, in the sky, in a lab and, says the maker of this new electric car, at the end of a power cord. A nicely made but slightly self-serious ad, it sets the bar pretty high comparing its product to the first lightbulb and a Jimi Hendrix solo. (We're thinking Segway is glad it didn't make an ad like this when it launched.)
