The often wildly dressed Lady Gaga who in the past year has rocked outfits made of meat, latex and a material that resembled bubbles came to Larry King dressed as the king himself. Donning a button-up shirt, tie, sunglasses and, of course, the trademark suspenders (though hers were uniquely Gaga, complete with black sequins), Stefani Germanotta sat down via satellite to discuss parts of her rarely revealed personal life. One of the most notable of her confessions was that she has tested borderline positive for Lupus, the connective-tissue disease that killed her aunt in 1976. "Lupus is in my family and it is genetic," Gaga said. "The truth is, I don't show any signs, any symptoms of lupus. But I have tested borderline positive for the disease. So, as of right now, I do not have it, but I have to take good care of myself."
She also revealed that negotiations were in motion for her to open for Michael Jackson in his "This Is It" tour before he passed, discussed her fan base who she affectionately calls "Little Monsters" and spoke out on hot-button issues such as "Don't Ask, Don't Tell" (Gaga is a fervent supporter of gay rights). The interview between the King and the Lady highlighted what Larry as done best throughout his 25 years on air: he got big names to give him big information and reveal a more candid side of themselves in the process.
