What you'll need:
Black turtleneck
iPad
Construction paper
It's a story that seemed too good to be true and apparently it wasn't. Earlier this fall, Apple CEO Steve Jobs was reportedly detained in Japan after authorities refused to allow him to take a set of ninja throwing stars onto his own private plane. According to Japanese magazine Spa!, Jobs subsequently swore never to visit the country again. Apple quickly responded, charging that the story was "pure fiction" and that while Jobs had in fact been in Kyoto on vacation, "Steve had a great time and hopes to visit Japan again soon." Still, it's been hard to erase the idea of Mr. Jobs the ninja from our imaginations. For your Halloween ode, try a black turtleneck and sweatpants (ninja mask optional). Make sure you carry an iPad or simulacrum (decoys cost around $49) and cut plenty of ninja stars and Apple logos out of construction paper as ammo to throw at anyone who dares stand in your way.
