The King of Pop's fans remained devoted through years of controversy, and death wasn't about to stop them from expressing their allegiance. And while love can't be reduced to simple numbers, numbers sure can say a lot: according to Billboard, rather than seek refunds, fans have held on to tickets worth an estimated $6.5 million for Michael Jackson's canceled This Is It concert series. They came out in force for the concert movie of the same name, released in fall 2009. Fans have also flocked to the courthouse, demanding justice as Jackson's doctor faces a charge of involuntary manslaughter. A large turnout is expected at Forest Lawn cemetery on the anniversary of Jackson's death.
