Some 125 miles above the Arctic Circle in Lapland, there are two of the coolest bars on Earth. Everything the drink glasses, countertops, chairs at the hotel bar at the world's first and largest ice hotel in Jukkasjärvi, Sweden is elegantly carved from river ice. Rebuilt each winter, by this time of year the aptly named Icehotel is melting away, but the hotel is already preparing its 21st incarnation in December. In neighboring Finland, there's another popular Lappish ice bar that's rebuilt annually. Housed in 2,100 square foot igloo and serving Lappish delicacies, the Finnish IceBar is a great place to chill out and break the ice with the cosmopolitan crowd. The IceBar, part of the larger Snow Village complex, is also available for private parties, allowing you to show off your dance moves at your very own igloo disco.
