In 2004's Mean Girls, high school is a face-off between the wimps and the popular kids. Gretchen Wieners (Lacey Chabert) falls somewhere in between. She's a member of the "plastics," a small group of the most popular, admired and feared girls in school. Yet she's really just a yes-woman to head plastic Regina George (Rachel McAdams), who dictates what the plastics wear, who they date and where they sit at lunch. Gretchen silently suffers, because she knows that to speak out would be social suicide.
