Mustafa Ahmed al-Hawsawi is alleged to have been al-Qaeda's operations facilitator. He was one of 14 key al-Qaeda operatives transferred from CIA custody to the U.S. military prison at Guantánamo Bay in 2006. He will now face trial in a civilian federal court in New York City.
