Your average massively multiplayer online role-playing game (MMORPG) features hundreds if not thousands of characters players can interact with, and recording audio for all of them is a huge undertaking meaning most of these games are fairly silent, text-heavy affairs. So Bioware's announcement that its upcoming Star Wars MMORPG will feature recorded voices for every character in the game should've been a jaw dropper. But it was the teaser trailer for the game that stole the show. The nearly four-minute sequence depicts full-scale Jedi warfare that beats George Lucas' three prequel films combined (admittedly, not difficult) along with light-saber action that makes Luke Skywalker look like the Tatooine farm boy he is. It revealed absolutely nothing significant about the game, of course but Star Wars fans were too busy picking their jaws off the floor to care.
