Former President George W. Bush never did earn high praise for his mastery of the English language, (See Top 10 Bushisms), so it's perhaps no surprise that his handle on geography is also occasionally less than stellar. While addressing attendees at the 2007 Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation meeting in Sydney, Bush thanked his hosts for inviting him to the OPEC summit (Organization of Petroleum Exporting Countries) and later referred to Australian Prime Minister John Howard visiting "Austrian troops" in Iraq. Bush capped the appearance with a hasty exit to the wrong end of the stage. Maybe he should take to "the Google" and find himself a map.
