For a network that bills itself as "The Most Trusted Name in News," a basic geography slipup on one of its digital graphics doesn't do CNN's rep any favors. During a June 2007 segment on the refugee crisis in Afghanistan, a shot of host Anderson Cooper gave way to a map highlighting a Syria-shaped "Afghanistan." Nifty, yes. Accurate? Not so much. The production flub could've been worse. At least Cooper wasn't burned by a hot mic.
