Tyson's career was bookended by two streaks: the first as a winner, the last as a loser. Facing a 2005 bout against Kevin McBride a veritable boxing nobody the 38-year-old Tyson showed he had nothing left. He took a beating, to put it charitably, inflicting damage only through an illegal head butt. By the sixth round, Tyson refused to even leave his stool in the corner.
"My heart is not into this anymore," Tyson said after the match. "I want to move on with my life." He left the ring facing an uncertain future, having burned through millions of dollars and countless relationships. In the wake of the fight, the iron-clad champion was reduced to amateur spars just to pay the bills.
