Hudson has been an audience pleaser since her days as a finalist on American Idol, and after the tragedy her family endured this year she was bound to be a sentimental Grammy favorite. Besides taking home the award for R&B album of the year, she received a massive ovation at the end of this inspirational ballad. I'm not sure what it says about Hudson, but I couldn't detect any more or less emotion in this performance than in others I've seen. Maybe it says she's a pro.
