New Mexico Gov. Bill Richardson speaks on the final day of the 2008 Democratic National Convention on Aug. 28
A well-researched, well-written, well-delivered speech that hit the Bush record and McCain's ties to it as successfully as any of the other convention speakers. The New Mexico Governor and former presidential candidate also expertly built his speech from start to finish in terms of energy, ending on a high something many other speakers for some reason didn't do. As a result, the crowd loved him.
