Comedy Central — which went to the presidential well in 2001 with Trey Parker and Matt Stone's That's My Bush! — is back with an animated sitcom about the adventures of pint-sized Lil' George W. Bush and his grade-school pals Lil' Condi, Lil' Rummy and Lil' Cheney. The show is based on a series of cell-phone shorts done for Amp'd, which were a little broad and non sequitur. (Much like That's My Bush! was.) But the show could have promise if it fleshes out the characters while sticking to its premise: the overlap between the egos of politicians and the ids of kids. What line is more perfect for a cranky grade-schooler than "I'm the decider!"?
