Brooke continues in what is becoming a season 7 pattern of accompanying herself on guitar, at least until the second verse, when she gets bored of the axe-wielding and grips the mike with both hands. As Simon mentioned in an earlier round, Brooke just seems like someone from the '70s, with that shaggy flaxen hair and big-toothed Carly Simon smile. She scrapes bottom on a couple of the lower votes, but otherwise her countrified take on the song is a winner.
