Asia'h picks up speed as she goes, introducing some Mary J. Blige-style soul runs into Janis Joplin's much-abused Idol staple. It helps that she can really sing, but she also seems to understand that it's ok to adapt the songs to the way you feel. Tonight, we'll call that a triumph.
