It should be obvious enough, I know. Yet for some reason, thousands of people travel all the way up into the Swiss Alps to spend their days in a windowless convention center instead of on the slopes. On this, my fourth visit to Davos, I finally tried the skiing. It was spectacular. And, because the hotel rooms in Davos were mostly taken up by non-skiing World Economic Forum attendees, there were hardly any lift lines.
