Polaroid rebounds from a brush with obsolescence with its Distal Instant Mobile Photo Printer. Connect the printer to digital cameras or camera phones, and it can produce a 2" by 3" mini-pic, one quarter the size of a regular snapshot, in less than a minute. It's due in stores in the fall.
