Edwards Plays Games with Wal-Mart

"While the rest of America's working families are waiting patiently in line, Senator Edwards wants to cut to the front."

—A statement from Wal-Mart after it was revealed that a member of Edwards' staff tried to obtain a Playstation3 from Wal-Mart the day before the console went on sale. Edwards is an outspoken critic of Wal-Mart and criticized the behemoth in a conference call with union-backed WakeUpWalMart.com the same day of the failed PS3 acquisition. Edwards later told the press he knew nothing about it and that the staffer made a mistake.
