Top Chef host Padma Lakshmi, 36, and the Satanic Verses author, 60, announced plans to divorce just two weeks after he received the coveted British honor. Rushdie, who married Lakshmi in 2004, once said about his marriage to her, "It feels very odd to see newspaper articles saying 'Beauty and the Beast.'"
