Angelina Jolie plays Mariane Pearl in A Mighty Heart
Angelina Jolie could make Tomb Raider 3 or Ocean's Fourteen. Instead she took the high road and starred in this docudrama on the terrorist kidnapping of Wall Street Journal reporter Daniel Pearl as related by his wife Mariane. It's brisk and well told but sadly perfunctory. Jolie and her producer (Brad Pitt) get an A for effort, a C+ for achievement.
