If you're concerned about what might happen if your child were to get lost, a new digital tag may help. The Philips In-Touch Address Recorder ($20; philipsusa.com) is a soft rubber key chain with a big red button marked SOS. You record a 20-sec. voice message on the device, such as your child's name and your address, or perhaps pertinent medical information. You then attach it to your child's clothing. If an emergency were to happen, a grownup could press the SOS button for helpful clues. The device's tiny, recessed recording button is supposed to be childproof, and provided your kid doesn't find a paper clip or a ballpoint pen we suppose it is.
