Uncomfortable Accident
An X-ray shows a surgical clamp left inside a 59-year old male patient. The clamp was removed without incident. Surgical teams accidentally leave clamps, sponges and other tools inside about 1,500 patients nationwide each year, according to a study done by researchers at Brigham and Womens Hospital and Harvard School of Public Health
