Mourners embrace in the Lower Ninth Ward at the repaired levee wall which was breached during Hurricane Katrina's aftermath. On the anniversary of Hurricane Katrina, residents remembered the victims and survivors of the deadly storm that claimed the lives of approximately 1,600 people.
