School Days
Both William's father and grandfather attended Gordonstoun, a boarding school in Moray, Scotland, which is known for its strict rules. Prince Charles detested it, which may explain why 13-year old William enrolled at the prestigious Eton College instead. Diana may also have influenced that decision: her father and brother had attended the exclusive boarding school in Berkshire as well. In this photo, taken in 1985, William's estranged parents accompanied him to the start of his first term.
