Discovery touches down at 11:57 AM EDT at Cape Canaveral on March 9, 2011, never to fly in space again. During the course of its 39 missions, it deployed 13 satellites, circled the Earth 5,830 times and put more than 148 million miles on its odometer—and it brought all of its crews home safe and well.
