On Oct. 26, 2011 the Duchess hosted her first official solo engagement, after Prince Charles had to travel to Saudi Arabia to pay condolences to the Royal Family following the death of the Crown Prince. Middleton chose a silver Amanda Wakeley gown to fete In Kind Direct, a charity founded by Prince Charles in 1996.
