Over the past decade, Cave, an Alvin Ailey-trained dancer who heads the graduate fashion program at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago, has made hundreds of "Soundsuits" brilliant wearable art. Often produced from found or cast-off materials his first was built out of twigs collected in a Chicago park each makes its own joyful noise when the wearer moves or better dances around. This one is constructed out of knitted and crocheted fabric and various metal and wood toys.
