Diving the Antarctic
Norbert Wu
Blue-Eyed Cormorant
Though Wu traveled to Palmer Station once on a large cruise ship for his project, the largest cruise ships are highly regulated and do not allow passengers to disembark. It is nevertheless possible to dive in the Antarctic by booking passage on smaller cruise ships that can carry anywhere from 24 to 150 passengers. Some of the 150-passenger ships have staff dedicated to showing travelers what is underwater.
