Scenes from the Slamdance Film Festival
Maya Adrabi
Narrator
This year's Slamdance was the first festival that Adam Edwards, the voice of a film called Scrapper has ever attended. The movie he narrates takes a look at defiant group of desert survivalists who risk their lives scavenging a US military bombing range for lucrative scrap metal from exploded and unexploded ordnance. Edwards himself lives in the desert, not far from Joshua Tree. "Life itself is a film festival," he said to Adrabi. "Be your own star and shine every day. Your awards will present themselves."
