San Siro, Milan, Italy 1990
The Stadio Giuseppe Meazza, commonly known as the San Siro (the name of the Milanese district where it's located) is a municipally-run ground built originally in 1925 and one of the first in the world to be constructed exclusively for soccer. It's been renovated on multiple occasions, including a $60 million makeover ahead of Italy's 1990 World Cup. But the San Siro has really earned its renown by being home to Milan's two soccer teams — A.C. Milan and FC Internazionale — both titans of the international game.
