He was stationed at Camp Pendleton in California when the towers were hit and his father, Donald, a New York City firefighter with Rescue 3, rushed to the scene. Peter flew east and joined in the recovery efforts at Ground Zero, searching for his dad.
"If the roles were reversed, I know he would do the same thing. I just want something of his. I would prefer to bring something back."
