The popularity of soccer in Africa is fueled in great part by the fact that so many of the game's big stars — Cameroonian Samuel Eto'o, who plays for Inter Milan in Italy's Serie A League, and Ivorian Didier Drogba, who plays for Chelsea in England's Premier League, to name but two — were born and raised on the continent.
