For Moss, the challenges come day to day. "You have to know your triggers," she says. "You have to have a good support system, not just medication and going to church and talking to chaplains — which help, all of those things help — but knowing what makes you upset so you don't have those nightmares and night sweats. I notice that when my stress level is high, then those things really come upon me, so I constantly keep in shape, you know, how I feel. And if something's bothering me, I let you know it instead of holding it in."
